You must be a student who is a U.S. resident or an international student who is studying at a U.S. school who is a:
High school junior or senior, or
Student currently enrolled in two-year or four-year college or university
Student currently enrolled in graduate school.
There will be three scholarships awarded, with a top award of $1,000 to be given to the student who creates the best essay or video response to the following prompt: "Over the last five years, the number of traffic fatalities in Indiana has steadily risen, according to Indiana University Public Policy Institute statistics. These numbers reflect a national trend. What things can we do better at a local level to prevent these deadly crashes and make our roads safer?" The A&F Scholarships are available to all high school juniors and seniors as well as all students currently registered in any accredited post secondary institution.
To apply for this scholarship you will need to write an essay on the topic below. The essay should be between 500 and 1000 words. Your submissions must be sent to us by email at: scholarships at abbottandfenner.com
Topic: Describe your educational career and life goals. Explain your plan for achieving these goals. Include your degree/major, why you selected it, and how this degree/major will help you achieve your goals.
Applicants should be enrolled in an accredited university, in the U.S.A.
Applicants must have a minimum of a 3.0 GPA
All applications should be submitted no later than June 30th, 2020
This scholarship will be awarded in the 2020 Fall Semester
